Time for another TMI Tuesday folks!
Officially spring will be here (in the northern hemisphere) in a few weeks. I want to rush things along and declare it spring now; especially after the brutal winter we here in the mid-Atlantic states have endured. TMI Tuesday…
Spring the season of love
1. Spring vacation, will you take one? Where?
Sadly my answer is no. We got Lily, our Bichon Frise, in 2012 and that saw the end of our holidays! We’ve had possibly 5 nights out during that period, as Lily has the world’s worst case of separation anxiety. I fear that putting her into boarding while I lie on a beach would kill her!
Spring time love.
2. Do you become friskier as the temperatures outside heat up?
I can’t say that I do! I’m pretty frisky on a day to day basis! To be honest, the heat of summer, (when we are lucky enough to get it), tends to slow me down. I don’t like the stickiness of it!
3. Do you flirt more in spring vs. other times of the year?
Again… Have you met me??? I flirt with my own reflection FFS! So, nope. I will flirt any time of year, all year!
4. Do you dress sexier in the spring?
In a word… NO!
5. What day of the week do you have sex most often?
Possibly Sundays or Saturdays, simply because we have more time.
Falling in love takes one-fifth of a second
It takes a fifth-of-a-second for the euphoria-inducing chemicals to start acting on the brain when you are looking at that special someone. –Source
6. Do you use kissing as an important way to test out a new mate? Good kissers, keep and move forward to another stage in a budding relationship. Bad kissers, get pruned and dumped.
For sure! If they can’t kiss well I don’t expect them to be able to please me in other ways either. Kissing matters… period!
7. What do you expect from marriage?
Friendship, love, companionship, someone always having my back, sex, laughter, trust, honesty, vulnerability, intimacy. A nice hard spanking helps too! 😈
a. safety and solidarity and security
b. a journey towards self-fulfillment and self-actualization with a partner that ‘gets’ you.
8. Acts of love & kindness. Which would mean more to you:
a. Taking your partner a cup of tea in bed (or receiving that cup of tea)
b. Giving or receiving a box of chocolates or flowers
A! I have no need to get up at 6.30am but I choose to get up to make the OH a cup of tea of when he gets out of the shower. It’s a small, simple gesture that shows I care. I get the favour returned at weekends… usually!
Bonus: In your late teens or early 20s did you take wild spring break vacations with friends? What is the wildest, craziest, sexiest thing you did on a “gone wild” spring break?
Aw, that is not a thing here in Ireland, sadly! I have seen about American Spring Breaks and they look, actually kind of terrifying! Not sure I would be interested.
